There is currently a nationwide shortage of tortoises. This is because of an import embargo on Horsefield Tortoises. As a result the pool of available Hermann's Tortoises has also run dry. We do not know when this will end. We are hoping for news in November. Expect them to be hard to find and EXPENSIVE for the ones that can be found.
